Are you in Malvern and seeking A Central Heating Installation or Replacement?
Central heating is the most commonly found type of heating system in the UK. Most of this is fuelled by mains gas, whereas the remainder is fuelled by a combination of LPG, electric, oil and renewable technologies. We can work with gas, electric, LPG and some renewable technologies.
We offer work on most domestic and light commercial systems, including combi boilers, heat only and system boilers and other types of storage systems and instantaneous water heaters. From solutions for small dwellings to large properties and small businesses, we have got your needs covered.
So Why Choose Us?
- Fixed price quotes, not estimates
- Trust Mark endorsed
- High standards
- Boilers with up to 10-year warranty
- Trustworthy and dependable
We are proud to offer central heating installations with up to 10 years parts and labor warranty on the boiler, offer by the manufacturer, as well as on the work that we do and the equipment we supply. Additionally, we are highly endorsed and give insurance backed guarantees all jobs we undertake.
Our central heating systems are designed to be long-lasting, and we use fully soldered copper heating systems where feasible. If we plan to use any flexible pipes, we design the system to use mechanical joints wherever possible over push-fit versions in order to make them longer-lasting and lessen the number of areas where leaks can spring from in the future.
What We Offer:
- Superb pricing
- Systems you can expect to last a long time
- Bespoke solutions
We are able to provide a huge range of services and will always give advise on the best ways forward, with your costs in mind. We choose to install only systems which we believe will need a small amount of maintenance in the future and will be economical to run.
Do a search on the Internet for us and you will be greeted with top-quality testimonials. We pride ourselves in being reliable and trustworthy; we will not mess you around!
“Domestic central heating systems are generally poorly designed with care, and the entire installation process is generally rushed. This often shows further down the line, and it doesn’t always take that long before the poor design and installation costs start to affect the homeowner.”
Frequently Asked Questions
It is expected that boilers will be used in the UK for a long time to come, with hydrogen becoming a main fuel source sometime in the future. Because current gas and LPG equipment will be able to use hydrogen with little to no changes necessary and is already using supplemented biogases in certain areas of the UK, it would be reasonable to expect boilers for central heating to be around for a significant period of time yet.
If you were to compare them to mains gas, the answer would be no. They are more costly to install and usually, the pumps use five times more electricity than gas usually. The most reliable heat pumps offer 4-5kW of heat for every 1kW of electricity used. Even taking the Renewable Heat Incentive scheme (RHI) into account, the expense of a standard installation will negate any payback the scheme provides in comparison to well-installed mains gas system.
However, heat pumps can be a good idea if you live in an off-grid property or for a bigger dwelling, where the higher costs are affordable. Oil prices tend to be incredibly errative, and LPG gas is typically 3-4 times dearer than mains gas dependent on how it is purchased (whether in bulk or via cylinders). LPG and to a lesser extent oil heating systems are often more economically viable in smaller to medium dwellings as they are much cheaper to install and this means a lot when it comes to fuel.
It depends on the circumstances. This is a reason why you need a trustworthy company who provide a wide range of solutions. Most other companies/installers will only push the services that are best for them, rather than considering the consumer’s needs. We will be honest with you in recommending the best solution for your individual situation, even if it means pointing you in the direction of another company where we do not offer that service.
If you already host oil fueled heating, except in the case of a large building, then it is rarely advisable to swap to LPG. However, if you were to need an installation from scratch, as long as you have enough room for a bulk vessel, LPG could be the best choice for a standard property. Heat pumps may provide the answer for larger properties.
Occasionally, LPG suppliers, like Calor, offer free bulk vessel installation which can be a bonus.
